Gossip Girl here, with some news that has the beauty world all
abuzz. Kelly Rutherford has teamed up
with Peter Thomas Roth, a brand famous for its serious skin care science and
visible results. The radiant actress and
the man behind the brand, PETER THOMAS ROTH, dished exclusively to Star on the
set of their first campaign together.

How did this
partnership come about?
Kelly Rutherford: It was really organic. We met about five years ago at a friend’s
Christmas party, and I told Peter I was a big fan of his products, so he sent
me some – which was great! Then Gossip
Girl filmed at his Upper East Side townhouse, and we met up again recently at a
Peter Thomas Roth: A friend at the party suggested that since
Kelly’s such a fan of the brand, she should be our celebrity spokesperson. He said it partly in jest, but we were like,
“That’s a great idea!”
Kelly, what was your
introduction to the brand?
Kelly Rutherford: When I was younger, I was buying the
sunscreen and body scrubs. Now I say,
“Thank God he’s making antiaging products!”
I’ve kind of grown up with Peter.
And you’re working on
a documentary now?
Kelly Rutherford: Well, it’s in the early stages, but it’s
about how women use their resources to better the world. Women are hungry for information about what
to do and how to find a purpose and what we can do as individuals.
