Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why change it? Irritating ingredients! Used the old glycolic 10 moisturiser that has been discontinued for the past 5 years. Completely kept my dairy reactive chin clear from blemishes! Was a life saver. Was fragrance free with vitamins A & E. The new version contains so many irritating ingredients including fragrance! Why change something that had such raving reviews. Why not bring out another one for people who want to rub alcohol on their faces but keep this one for those of us that have used it faithfully with success for the last 5 years. Now going to have to experiment with many different glycolics until I can find one that keeps spots at bay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not really working on my skin I have an uneven skin tone. I have been using this product for two weeks now and I am not really happy with it. When I put it on my face it is really sticky that even when I wake up in the morning, the sticky feeling is still there. Also, I didn't feel or see any positive difference about my skin, so I stopped using. I just wish I could send it back to the store and refund my money, but of course that is not possible, so it is just a waste of money. I am sorry to say that but that is exactly how I feel about it because this product is a bit pricey. I would suggest to everyone to try the sample first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terribly disappointed I bought this as a replacement to the 10% glycolic gel I've been using for a long time. The product burns and is very irritating, even using a small amount. I'm not sure what it is about the formula. Maybe I'm allergic to it. My skin continued to be dry and flaky with using for a few weeks. I gave in and found a site that still sells the gel and bought 2 bottles. Back to using the gel my skin is smooth with no flakiness in the middle of winter after only 2 days.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring Back the Gel Formula Please!!! I used the hydrating gel formula for some time and it cleared pesky blackheads on my nose that nothing had been able to! I also used it on my face/neck for anti-aging purposes and it really was hydrating and non-irritating. When it was discontinued, I switched to this formula and have not had the same results with my blackheads--their back and staying put! Also, it does give a burning sensation to my skin and make it flake a bit. Also has a bit of chemical odor. I gave it 2 stars because it is moisturizing and has no parabens like the gel did. Please listen to all of these reviews and bring back the gel--without parabens. Gel also had some nice antioxidant ingredients.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible substitution for the original This came in the mail when I had an ongoing bi-monthly order for the original gel. My spouse and I both use the original and both gave this new formula a try. It is terrible. I do not have troublesome skin and this formula caused me to have cystic type blemishes in places on my face I have never had issues before. We are very disappointed with this version of the Glycolic Acid Hydrating gel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing... The older version of this was a life saver. After years and years of trying out products I found something that worked. I don't understand why it was discontinued. I saw great reviews. This new formula is irritating to the skin. I am sad...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful! I have been using the Glycolic 10% Hydrating Gel for years, and it was the only thing that worked for me and my daughter. This new glycolic moisturizer has citric acid in it, and we are allergic to citric acid. I am not happy with this product. Please bring back the perfect gel. Why change it?

Hi there! I'm trying to find some products that are non comedegenic, and am having trouble finding that information anywhere, this says it reduces pore size but is it pore clogging? What other products, specifically moisturizers are? Thanks so much xoxo

Asked by: Blinxxs
Dear Blinxxs, Thank you for contacting us! While our products are not tested to be non-comedogenic, none are "comedogenic". Our company aims to not use ingredients that, to our knowledge, cause acne breakouts or clogged pores. We recommend trying our Max complexion pads, it cleanse skin, clear up acne and blackheads, penetrate and clear out pores, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with these powerful pads. Each pad contains maximum strength 2% Salicylic Acid and potent 10% Glycolic Acid Complex in an advanced botanical formulation to cleanse the skin, clear up active acne, minimize pore size, and eliminate the formation of new blackheads and breakouts. Double-sided pads deliver gentle cleansing action on one side and superior exfoliation on the textured side. Formulated with a fresh peach bellini scent instead of a traditional antiseptic scent.
